"Giving Children Wings to Fly"

Welcome!

Chrysalis Autism Center opened in Rock Hill, SC as a not-for-profit 501c3 organization in 2008, providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI). EIBI is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a research-proven method of treatment for children with autism.

Early Intervention is crucial towards developing young children with autism to their full potential. EIBI focuses on the "Learning to Learn" skills necessary for children to become successful participants in their families, community and educational environments. Our quality programs are both exciting and effective, emphasizing language, communication, imitation, play, social and self-help skills.

Our commitment to offer superior programs is our continued mission, giving children with autism
"Wings to Fly!"

The Meaning Behind the Name

"The name Chrysalis was chosen because in nature it is the protective casing of the caterpillar during its radical transformation into a glorious, flittering, graceful, beautiful butterfly. The chrysalis is by nature a temporary stage for the butterfly; a place to change, develop, grow, and eventually spread its wings and fly as designed. CAC’s specialty is Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI). EIBI offers young children with autism a distinct stage in life designed to prepare them for the school-aged years ahead; each one taking flight on their perfectly individual journey."
