Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

At Chrysalis Autism Center, we believe that every individual has the right to access high-quality, effective, and culturally responsive ABA services. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our clients, families, and staff members, regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or ability.

We recognize that disparities and inequities exist in our society, and we are dedicated to doing our part to dismantle systemic barriers that prevent individuals from accessing the care they need. We strive to provide personalized treatment that considers the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each individual and family we serve.

We believe that by fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding, we can create a positive and empowering experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

We put our DEI values into action by completing the following actions:

  • Individualize our instruction to the clients’ needs.
  • Prioritize what makes the family’s culture unique and integrating those values into treatment targets.
  • Provide resources to families and team members that highlight diversity and multicultural involvement in the field of behavior analysis.
  • Include diverse and inclusive representation of families within our teaching resources that are specific to the learners that we serve.
  • Provide a safe environment for our learners to be who they are, enjoying activities that allow them to be happy, relaxed and engaged within learning opportunities.
  • Provide opportunities for our staff to be educated about potential biases that may occur in the workplace
